Welcome to the South Island Branch of the Old English Car Club of BC
Our purpose is to encourage the use, restoration, preservation and enjoyment of all English vehicles, old and new.
Monthly meetings are held once a month (except in December) on the third Wednesday of the month. From November to April we meet at 1:30pm; from May to October, we meet at 7:00pm. In December the club has a Christmas party and awards night.
Generally the club meets on the Sunday afternoon following the monthly meeting for a car rally, tour or other activity and follows this with refreshments at a pub or restaurant. The club hosts a Restoration Fair and Swap Meet in the spring, at Heritage Acres in Saanichton.
We have approximately 175 members, who own examples of nearly all marques of English cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles. Annual membership is only $25. Anyone may join the club, ownership of an English car is not required. Join or renew membership to the South Island Branch.
A monthly newsletter is produced by the South Island Branch, The Dynamo, and is emailed to all active members. Past editions are available online in the password protected Member’s Zone. You can view an example of the newsletter here
